On the mountain

Ski Megève and enjoy hours of endless skiing

The Megève ski area covers 445kms with terrain for skiers of all levels. There are three separate areas and a total of 34 black runs, 82 reds, 65 blues and 38 greens. Getting around couldn’t be easier.  The Domaine Evasion Mont-Blanc lift pass covers Mont d’Arbois, Jaillet, Rochebrune and Cote 2000. Also neighbouring Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, Combloux, La Giettaz, Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce and Les Contamines-Montjoie.

Skiers opting for SB Ski’s instructional holidays will ski as much of the area as possible (according to ski group level). It’s a great resort, easily accessible and family friendly.

A choice of great mountain restaurants

Check out our inside guide to the best lunch stops on the mountain. All the favourites are here – and maybe some new ideas, too.

The nursery slopes in Megève have dedicated areas for beginners and easy-to-use ‘magic carpet’ style lifts. Intermediate and lower level skiers are spoilt for choice with some delightful tree-lined descents. Challenging and more testing opportunities are also available, with tougher terrain on the steeps and off piste at Mont Joly and Cote 2000. For fun there are also freeride parks, bordercross runs, and bagjumps. Enjoy!

In recent years a huge amount of investment has gone into upgrading major ski lifts so getting about is easy and efficient. In addition snow-making has been extended so that more terrain is skiable throughout the season.
