Fabulous morning skiing with plenty of miles covered. Great to ski in a small group (only 3 of us plus the instructor) as less stopping and more skiing! Happy for the group to have input on where we skied and what runs we covered to give maximum enjoyment for all. As an instructionaphobe, not had a lesson in 25 years, I expected to dislike lessons and drop out after day one! Richie was so enthusiastic, committed, hardworking and was such a clear communicator. He easily motivated me, not just to turn up, but to enjoy every minute of every lesson…  The evening meals were a highlight of this and indeed any holiday. Can’t praise enough the thought, quality, care and skill that goes into the catering. DN – 03/02

Having been to SB Ski several times previously, I felt the lessons were the best I’d received and the pace was just right. Jay made the lessons very personable and I felt my skiing improved during the course off the week.  Jay’s critique was always spot on. Ernesto was really good. I think I made a real breakthrough this year and am sorry I couldn’t stay longer to consolidate. Although the material was similar to what we have been doing before, there was a slightly different emphasis. In retrospect I felt that Ernesto built up what we were doing over the week and at the end I actually felt that I was finally doing short turns properly. WC – 30/01

I love the feel of Hotel Chalet d’Antoine, smart yet comfortable and homely. Plenty of space to sit and relax, yet sociable too. The provision of lessons/guidance are what stand SB Ski apart from the rest of the ski industry and I found the sessions really valuable… I felt that the instructors struck the balance between instruction and guidance, ie we are on holiday to ski and although very much keen to learn and improve, also keen to have fun and not have technique broken down too much. The food is one of the high spots of holidays at Hotel Chalet d’Antoine – beautifully presented and never too much with very imaginative recipes. The cakes at tea were particularly good! CP – 28/02
